Wednesday was East Valley’s senior photo fair and our first of the season. We didn’t make it to any of the Coeur d’Alene-area ones this year due to a couple schedule conflicts and one of them telling us the wrong date, unfortunately, but we’re hoping it’ll work out better next year.
Senior photo fairs are one of those things where the booth evolves over time — we get better photos to present, new products to show, and new ideas for the overall booth on what works and doesn’t work well. Take a look below to see the difference between our 2008 and 2009 booths! Everything ties in with our photography studio that we opened this past February and we’re gearing up for the coming senior season with our first senior booking in June.
This year we debuted our new graduation announcements, name composites, and colors. We made our prints bigger, more vibrant, and had more of them on display to show the variety of work we do. Only a few of our prints were framed this year too as opposed to all of them in our first show last year. We’ve been moving more and more away from that for photo fairs since they’re so bulky to transport — frames are one of those things that are best left hanging on the wall and not moved around repeatedly!
Stay tuned for more updates as we’ll also be at the Central Valley High School on June 8 and University High School on June 9.
